

He is preceded in death by his father Pedro Serrato Sr.
He is Survived by his wife Carmen Serrato; his mother María Guadalupe Serrato; brothers Miguel Serrato, Luis Serrato, Willie Serrato; sisters Reyna Serrato and Lupe Pedraza (Javier); brother in law, Vincent Navarro (Veronica), sister in laws Becky Sewell (Tom) and Virgie Espinosa (Blackie+); his daughters María del Carmen Carbajal (Marshall), Krystal Marie Castillo (Robert); 6 grandchildren Brandon Diego Carbajal, Claudia Krystal Carbajal, Robert Castillo Jr., Mercedes Carmen Carbajal, Marshall Carbajal Jr, and Khloe Marie Castillo; 2 great grandchildren Juan Carbajal Jr. and Madeline Grace Carbajal and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Pedro was a man of many traits. He dedicated his life to providing for his wife and family. He worked for Raytheon (Texas Instruments) for many years before having to retire due to his health. He enjoyed spending time with his family and taking trips to the casino. Pedro always said he just went for fun because he won the jackpot when he married Carmen 47 years ago. Pedro enjoyed playing softball and working on cars. He was strong, patient and loving to all.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, August 25, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home Chapel with a liturgy of the word will be at 1:00 PM. A committal service will be at 2:00 PM at Calvary Hill Cemetery, 3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, Texas 75220.
