

Peggy Joyce Craddock Bailey was born on 7/28/1949 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas to the parentage of Henry Craddock, Jr., and Mary Lewis Craddock. Peggy was educated in the Titus County School System, where she graduated in 1968 from the Booker T. Washington High School. She attended the East Texas State University in Commerce, TX. Later in life she met and married the love of her life Mr. Larry Bailey, Sr. To this union one child was born, Larry Bailey, Jr.
Peggy began working for Blue Cross and Blue Shield and remained a dedicated employee for more than 30 years. She later embarked upon on new career where she completed a Prescribed Course, The Professional Paralegal Specialty. Program in Corporations Law in May, 1993. Peggy worked as a paralegal at a law firm until the company closed.
Peggy was a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt, but, most importantly she was a child of God. Peggy attended Full Gospel Holy Temple for 10+ years under the leadership of the late Pastor Lobias Murray. She most recently attended church at Light House Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Superintendent Michael Clerkly.
Peggy entered eternal rest on July 8, 2021. She was greeted beyond Heaven’s gate by her parents, Henry and Mary Craddock, Grandparents, Audra and Florine Lewis (maternal) and Henry and Lillie Craddock (paternal), one sister Joanne Craddock, and one brother in law Edward W. Bailey. She leaves to cherish her sweet memories her husband of 44 years Larry Bailey Sr., one son Larry Bailey, Jr. (Lisa), one grandson Jaden L. Bailey, two sisters (Lillie Craddock Douglas (Charles), Stephanie Craddock, three brothers Johnny Craddock, Jerry Craddock and Stephen Craddock, three sisters in law Mary Edward, Alice Giddens and Debbie Bailey. Nephews: Marlon Craddock, Lajon Craddock, Jeremy Craddock, Kadarius Ross and Brandon Douglas, Nieces: Jerwan DeFroe and Josie Craddock.
