The MPHS Class of 1952 has lost a dear classmate and wonderful friend.  Peggy had planned to be at the reunion in June, 2012, and we were looking forward to a great time.  We will miss her big smile and beautiful laugh.  There will always be a special place for Peggy in our heart.

Our thought and prayers are with her loving family and friends.

My best memories of Peggy have been these later years when I worked on the reunion committee, and the flower fund.  Peggy was always so glad to do her part for the class.  We would talk and laugh until Peggy got tired.  I always enjoyed our time together as she was always so upbeat.  This is what I will miss the most. 

She was the life of the party at the last reunion she attended.  I have so many fond memories of her.

i will always remember peggy when she visited canada, she had us laughing all the time. she came for the wedding of my daughter gillian to chad calvert. helen and myself heard of her passing when we were in fiji on holiday. thinking of the family through this difficult time... david and helen. toronto canada.

Peggy Culver Johnson was my friend of long standing, from high school days to our recent talks of our class reunion planned for this year. When we talked it was as if those punishing years had not intervened.  I share the family's loss of such a great lady.  Words cannot express the sorrow and yet comfort in knowing her suffering here has ended.  Our prayers are with the family.

There no words to ease your pain, just remember she is now in heaven and in Gods hands where she is at peace. Our deepest sympathy to you and your family.

Our son married Peggy's youngest daughter, Cindy, over 30 years ago and we have spent many Thanksgivings and Christmas' together. During this time we never saw anything but a smile on her face. She was a gentle person with a big heart. Our prayers go out to all the family.

I was honored to call Peggy my friend.  I mean it as the highest compliment when I say she was tough, in the same spirit as Margaret Thatcher.  She will be sorely missed by all who knew and worked with her, I am very sure.

Everyone in Canada sends their prayers during this difficult time.  She was a great and funny lady.  It was great seeing her over the years.

Peggy Johnson was such a dear lady and friend. We lived next door to her at Northaven Terrace and a friendship grew with my family, her and Loette. My mom, Mackie, and her were especially close during that time. I remember chats in the breezeway. Keeping each other company in the laundry room by debating apple cider vinegar as a good softner! The 4 of us always kept up with each other. Her and Loetta hosted a baby shower for me which was filled with fun and laughter. We even had the privelage of celebrating her birthday at her daughters house. The memories are too many to list. Peggy has always had a special place in my heart, my husbands and my sons. She will be missed.
