Perry Lamarr Guest, born February 2, 1939, in Purcell, OK, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2023, in Dallas, TX, while surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl “Kelly” Guest and Helen Perry Guest, and his sisters, Joanne Guest McAuley and Kaaren Lee Guest.
Perry attended Central State University in Edmond, OK, and was a proud brother of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. After relocating to Dallas, TX, Perry started his own real estate company and engaged in a long and successful career as a real estate broker. In his spare time, Perry enjoyed going to estate sales, singing, dancing and drinking chocolate malts, but his ultimate joy and truest love was his family.
He is survived by his wife Glenda Glass Guest; daughter Melody Guest; son Grant Guest and daughter-in-law Shelby Guest; sisters-in-law Sarah Ann Staggs and Carloyn Gehring; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service and reception will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at 3:00 p.m., in the Sanctuary at Lovers Lane United Methodist Church, 9200 Inwood Road, Dallas, TX, 75220.
