Uncle Pete,
I remember when you came to Florida for the first time you were always playing jokes on me, I guess I was just a gullible kid back then, you always had me laughing. I remember calling you Uncle Peter potamus you will always be in my heart . Aunt Esther I hope God will give you the peace that you and your Family will need at this time. He was a good man I just wish we could have had one more family reunions before he left us, I know he wanted one. Love you all and God Bless!

Esther, you and Pete came to share a special place in our hearts. This came about when our families were joined by the bond of love shared between two very special persons, your daughter, Rebecca and our first grandson, Michael Torrez. We came to know you and appreciate you very much. We prayed daily for Pete's recovery but our Lord, had other plans. The days ahead will surely be difficult for you and your family, however, our precious Lord will not forsake you. You will be comforted and strengthened by the love of your family and friends. Most importantly, Pete will be with you always. You will feel his presence and his love. Your friends, Elva and Roscoe Friesenhahn

Uncle Pete, some of my first memories are of you and I watching tv together in the 1950s. We lived apart and sometimes together in Texas and Florida. We also worked together at times. You were more than Uncle to me you were more like a brother uncle. I will miss your sense of humor that was so infectious to any one that crossed your path. Your priorities were God first, family second, everything else after that. I will never forget you! RIP prayers for comfort for my Aunt Esther, and all the rest of the family.

Pere played baseball with my brothers and me when we were all kids. I mostly remember his infectious smile. He could light up a room when he entered because of that smile. He will be missed.
