Pete D Rivas

Pete Rivas was the ROCK of our family, the strongest, most loyal son, dad, husband, brother and grandfather. Pete loved spending time with his family, grilling and watching his team, the Dallas Cowboys. He loved oldies, Tejano and old school music, classic cars and his “hood”, Oak Cliff. Pete answered the Lord’s call of a Good and Faithful servant on October 13, 2016. Pete’s final act of love was to give the gift of life through organ donation. He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his family and his many friends. He is survived by his mother, Alice Rivas, brothers Roman Rivas and Eugene Rivas, wife Pamela Rivas, his children, Isaiah Rivas, Cecily Rivas, Noah Rivas and Clarissa Rivas, his granddaughter Ava Rivas, many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. His father, Pedro D. Rivas precede him in death.

John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.

Visitation will be held at Calvary Hill Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 19th from 5PM - 9PM. Celebration of Life will be Thursday, October 20th at 2pm at Iglesia Fe Esperanza Y Amor, 706 Lakeside Dr. Duncanville, 75116, with burial to follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
