She moved to Texas in 2014 to reside with her daughter and son-in-law, and became a member of Redeemer Bible Church of Dallas, where she continued to serve. She played in the hand-bell choir there for several years.
She is survived by her 5 children: Dawn Pennington of FL, Bobbie Thomas (Bruce) of FL, Tracie Preston (Joe) of TX, Jake Wood (Michelle) of VA, George Harlan (Melissa) of WV, her 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
