Prudencio Pineda Jr.

Prudencio Pineda Jr. - ‘PeeWee’ at work - was VP of Distribution for 42 years with Minyard’s grocery chain. Starting as an entry-level worker, he climbed to the top at Minyard’s through a passion for the job and a love for everyone he worked with.

Outside of his work life, to his family and friends he was ‘Chito’. Chito was a devoted husband to Lydia, his wife of 60 years, his immense family of children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers, sisters, cousins, and countless friends.

In his free time, he enjoyed relaxing at home watching golf, western movies, snacking on pecans, and having everyone over to visit at the house, but not stay too late. Prudencio was preceded in death by his son Arthur, daughter Sarah, father

Prudencio Sr., mother Maria, 2nd-mother Angelita, brothers Peter and Angel, and many other loved ones.

Those left to cherish his memories are his loving wife Lydia Pineda. His devoted children Danny (Mary), Christina, and Becky. Grandchildren Erica (Rudy), Stacia, Elisia, Genaro Jr, Christopher, and Stephen. Great grandchildren Emma and Evan. Siblings Beto (Maria), Arturo, Anna (Walter), Yolanda, Richard (Betty), Gloria (Arturo), Irma (Jaime), Rosie (Frank), Robert (Marisol), Rudy (Taryn), Salvador, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Viewing will be on Friday, February 14, 2025 4:00 - 8:00 pm (6:30 rosary)

Funeral service will be held at Calvary Hill Funeral Home on Sat February 15, 2025 at 9:00 am immediately followed by burial.

Prudencio Pineda Jr. will be dearly missed by all who knew him, but his legacy will live on through his family, friends, and colleagues.
