Ralph Wayne McGuffey, Sr. Born September 13, 1938 in Dallas, Texas, passed away February 24, 2015 in Dallas at the age of 76. Ralph retired from Coca-Cola Bottling Company after over 35 years of service. He is preceded in death by his parents, H.G. McGuffey, Sr. and Inez Marie Milburn; brothers, Howard McGuffey, Jr. and Orville McGuffey. Survived by wife, Sarah Christian McGuffey; children, Elizabeth (Betsy) Gooding and husband Brian and Ralph W. McGuffey, Jr.; grandchildren, Sarah Beth Gooding and Jason Lohn, Claire Works and husband Cody, Rachel Gooding and Grant Gooding; 2 great-grandchildren, Cason and Cate Works. The family will receive friends, Saturday, February 28, 2015, 9:00 until 10:00 AM, with services starting at 10:00 AM, Sparkman/Crane Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow, 1:00 PM, Woodlawn Cemetery in Kirvin, Texas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the charity of your choice.
