Ralph Pinkus was one of the finest men I've ever met. He mentored me when I was new to horticulture, and he was instrumental in my development as a horticulturist and as a man. He will be missed.

My name is Jose Suchodolski, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Ralph was a wonderful person, always attentive to the needs of others. It was a first cousin of my grandfather Abraham Gordon. Gd receive Him as he received everyone.

"O Allah!grant our Brother Ralph Pinkus protection,and keep him in  good condition,and pardon him,and make his entertainment hourable,and expand his place of entering,and wash him with water and snow and hail and clean him of faults as the white cloth is cleansed of dross."

I am glad I had the time we had together and flying to Dallas to see you and Aunt Muriel. I am so so very sad at this time. R.I.P. Uncle Ralph.

I've thought fondly many times of Mr. Pinkus and how he shared his enthusiasm for his plants. I especially recall the excitement of opening the Canyon Creek store many years ago.

One of my fondest Ralph memories is visiting with Ralph and Muriel at the King David Hotel in Jerusalem, where Ralph whisked me around the grounds like a kid in a candy store - pointing out plants and crushing fragrant leaves for me to sniff. He was an original. Thank you, Ralph, for lighting our lives and greening our world.

Ralph was a true renaissance man of the entire landscape industry. It was this man that gives us cause to forever celebrate his life, contribution, and generosity.

Sending lots of love and prayers from afar. What an amazing life story in career, family and love.  So much inspiration. A beautiful tribute to an amazing man.. Lots of love to the family.

To the entire Pinkus family, I am so sorry for your loss. Ralph Pinkus was one of the finest people I have ever known. He always spoke praises of his wonderful family. He was a dear friend of mine and I can truly say that he left the world a better place. He was a great man who will always be missed and can never be forgotten.

What a wonderful life you had together!  I know your precious memories will give you strength during this time.  Much love, always.

I owe a great deal to Ralph. He was a very great man and a very great teacher. God bless to all his family.

A loss that will be felt for decades. One of the reasons I signed up for a life in the industry.  Men like Mr. Pinkus made it possible to endure, learn, and move forward. He will be greatly missed.
