Ramona G.Salazar, 74, of Dallas, died Thursday, February 10th in Irving, Texas following a long illness. The daughter of Aurelio and Cecilia Trujllo Gonzales, Ramona was born in Dallas, November 9, 1936, where she grew up and attended Dallas Schools.
She was a long time employee of the Dallas Times Herald and she retired when the newspaper ceased to be published.
Preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and four brothers and two daughters in infancy, Ramona is survived by her four sons, Martin Perez of Ohio, Johnny Perez of Arlington, Adam Salazar and Rane Salazar both of Dallas, Texas; twelve grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; a sister Irma Gonzalez and a brother Librad Gonzalez both of Dallas.
Visitation will be at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, Sunday, February 13th from 2-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be Monday, February 14th at 11 a.m. in the Calvary Hill Cemetery Mausoleum North Chapel. Interment will follow in Calvary Hill Cemetery.
