Ramzi graduated with a Bachelor degree in Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and with a Master degree in Engineering from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. Although he traveled the world for business and pleasure, he chose to set up his home base in Texas to be close to his friends. It was here that he met his wife of over 30 years, Linda Privett. Everywhere he went, he made lasting friendships and it was no different in Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Cortas; his sister, Mariam Said; his brothers, Dr. Nadim (spouse Asdghik) Cortas and Sami (spouse Najwa) Cortas; as well as many nieces and nephews and their children, all of whom are dear to his heart.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to MD Anderson, St. Jude Hospital, any of the Food Banks in the USA or Lebanon Food Bank via the International Red Cross.
