

Randal matriculated through Dallas Independent School District. He graduated from David W. Carter High School in 2004. After graduation, Randal entered the workforce in private security and was apart of the security detail for local and nationally known celebrities such as Khole Kardashian. He worked as a cable technician, and was invited to start an apprenticeship as an electrician. He also worked for Concord Church in the music ministry.
Randal’s true love was music. He was the Founder and CEO of Lil Grip Productions and poured himself into his art. He was deeply respected by the music industry as a producer/audio engineer. As a local music legend, he played an integral part of launching the careers of artists such as the late C-Struggs, NARD, Yella Beezy, and TrapBoy Freddy, Tre Ward, and several talented artists. Randal’s music is featured on the television drama, All American. Randal has also worked on musical projects with award-winning singer-songwriter/producer Erykah Badu.
In addition to being a talented artist, Randal was a loving friend. He was quick to lend an ear and offer encouragement to whomever crossed his path. He would be the first to tell his clients and friends the importance of hard work, goal setting, and determination. His impact on others may be his greatest accomplishment.
He was preceded in death by grandparents Lloyd and Betty Coleman, Geraldine Ford, and brother/cousin Kenneth (K. Ford) Ford, II.
Those left to cherish Randal’s memories include his parents; Randal and Danita Ford, his brother; Daron Coleman, his sister/cousin; Kendra Ford Thompson, his niece; Tori Coleman (his #1 girl), special niece; Lyric Whitlow, his grandfather; Felton Ford, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and beloved friends.
