Raymond was raised in West Dallas, Duncanville, De Soto and Oak Cliff. He graduated from De Soto High School in 1980.
He married Alma Dinora Cruz in 1993 and the couple had three children. He was an Assistant Store Manager at Bud's Supermarket and Terry's Supermarket where he worked for more than thirty years.
In his spare time, Raymond enjoyed old movies, Kiss, The Beatles, music, and Live music (concerts). His family and friends will always remember him as a loving father, giving person, a person who loved food.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Susana Rojas.
He is survived by his daughters, Diana Katherine Herrera and Abby Angelica Herrera; son, Raymond Herrera; sister, Ermelinda Tejeda Sosa; brothers, Gustavo Trevino, Albert Herrera and Omar Rojas.
