

At 10:19 am on May 7, 2013 Raymond Lloyd Tuley Senior walked into his heavenly “Welcome Home Party” after having been surrounded by the loving farewells of his family for the past several days. Raymond enjoyed 89 years 73 days of full life here on earth. He used that time to honor God and bless others. Born in Red Oak, Tx on January 23, 1924, Raymond graduated from Lancaster High School in 1946. Raymond proudly served in the US Navy during WWII. He started his career in banking at the Grove State Bank in Pleasant Grove and retired as the Vice President of what today is Pleasant Grove branch of Bank of America after 36 years of service. Raymond was married to Maureen Steely Tuley for 43 years until her passing in 1988. He is survived by their two sons Michael R. Tuley of New Jersey and R. Lloyd Tuley of Rowlett, their wives Virginia and Linda and five Tuley grandsons: Raymond Neal, Travis Lloyd, Benjamin Joel, Justin Lane, and Pascal Jay. Raymond married Mozelle Chapman Morgan in 1990. After nearly 23 years of happy union, he is survived by her and his family on her side which includes her living children Diane Greer, Sandra Mitchell, David Morgan and Terry Morgan; their spouses, 12 grandchildren and 6 great grand children. Raymond is also survived by two of his five siblings: his twin John Roland Tuley of DeSoto and his youngest sister Pauline Tuley Smith of Little Elm. Raymond was preceeded in death by his parents German and Maude Tuley and three siblings: Foy Lee Tuley, Arthur Henry Tuley, Eula Mae Tuley Worley and one step-son Larry Morgan. Raymond loved and served his God, his family, his church, his community and his country. His amazing example of life will be celebrated in a funeral service to be held at Shiloh Terrace Baptist Church at 2 on Friday, May 10. Viewing times will be provided before the services beginning at 1:00.
