Rebekah F. Arnold was born in Nashville, TN on May 12, 1958. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Tuesday, December 28, 2010. Rebekah is survived by her husband Michael Arnold, and her children Zane Dodd, his wife Brittany, and baby Dodd, Rustin Dodd, Chris Arnold, and Kent Arnold, her parents Joe and Laverne Fitch, and brother Christopher Fitch and wife Lani. She was preceded in death by J.D. and Myrtle Jones and Joseph and Emma Fitch, her grandparents. Rebekah graduated from UNT with a degree in English. She loved writing and was widely recognized for her achievements in this field. Rebekah was a competitive tennis player and enjoyed participating in league competition. She loved being outdoors, appreciating the beauty of nature that God created. Music was also a passion for Rebekah, and brought her much joy and comfort. Above all these things, Rebekah loved God, family, and friends. Everyone close to Rebekah knew they were loved. Her warm smile and infectious laugh will be truly missed. The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 1st at 2:00 p.m., at the Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home in Dallas. Donations to the Amercian Cancer Society in the name of Rebekah F. Arnold will be greatly appreciated.
