Born in Brooklyn, New York, to Charles William and Regina Mary Clouse, she was the eldest of four children. She grew up in New York and Pennsylvania, later attending Allentown Central
Catholic High School and St. John’s University. In 1958, she met the love of her life, Donald Cacace, and the two married on July 25, 1959. Together they raised three daughters: Dorene, Jeanne, and Donna.
As her family relocated across the country, Regina transformed every space into a warm, vibrant home filled with art and personality. After settling in Whitesboro, Texas in the mid-1970s, she discovered her passion for painting and studied for nearly two decades under Professor Chung. Her artwork was showcased in galleries across the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
Regina was a devoted grandmother to Melanie, Audra, Briana, Kati, Brendan, Anna, and Mahia, and a proud great-grandmother to Rylee, Alycia, Amari, Aidan, Ariel, Adrian Jr., Asher and Ava. She loved traveling with her grandchildren, teaching them history, culture, and the importance of curiosity and resilience. Though illness changed her final years, her strength, humor, and unforgettable sayings never left her. She lived fiercely, loved deeply, and leaves behind a legacy of creativity, courage, and unconditional love.
