accepted Christ at an early age and later became a beloved faithful member of Antioch Fellowship
Missionary Baptist Church family in 2005.
She was so ambitious in becoming a member of the 2nd Service Greeters once she was well again. She modeled at Zelma’s Beauty Salon of Dallas, TX in 1977. Regina was a graduate of L. G. Pinkston High School in Dallas, Texas in 1978 where she also met her husband of 41 years Paul Davis Sr. They were united in Holy Matrimony April 21, 1979. She later attended All State Business College where she received her license as a certified nursing assistance in the early 80’s and worked at Cliff Towers Retirement Center as well as performing private duty sitting. She later transitioned to the service and hospitality field where she joined the Dallas Love Field Airport family for many years until her health declined and she retired.
Regina was a strong fighter and through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like.
She has been a very humble and meek person from childhood to her homegoing. She was very well
known for her special food dishes that she would prepare for our family gatherings and we all have our
favorites. Her wonderful, very forgiven, faithful heart and spirit will never be forgotten. Her life was a
living example of one of her favorite Bible verses, Ephesians 4:32-“And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.”
She is predeceased by her father Lee M. Duncan II and brother Lee M. Duncan III. She is survived by
husband Paul Davis Sr.; mother Gloria J. Baker; children: April (Terry) Durham, Paul Davis Jr.; sisters,
Rosalind (Charles) Davis, Bridget Baker; grandchildren: Christopher Duncan, Zhane’ Rhodes, Terri and
Jazmyn Durham; Nieces: Schenekia (Demetrius) Washington, La’Toya Baker, nephew: Robert Duncan,
and a host of great nieces and great nephews, aunts, cousins, and devoted friends. All of them she
loved and touched deeply.
