

Foster, Renita Brown Renita Brown Foster, 83, was escorted by the Lord and her husband of over 50 years, Hugh Bradley Foster, to her special place in Heaven on Saturday, September 14th. Renita's family will receive visitors on Friday, September 20th from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Grove Hill Funeral Home in Dallas. Come celebrate her blessed life on Saturday, September 21st at 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Mesquite, Texas. A reception will also be held in her honor at the church from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Renita was a proud native Dallas, Texan, a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and received an English Degree from Limestone College in Gaffney, South Carolina. She was a lifelong member of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas. A devoted housewife and mother, Renita was also a military spouse who could recite each and every address due to 33 moves in 30 years courtesy of the United States Air Force. Renita was a dedicated Dallas Cowboy and Texas Ranger fan. Her greatest pleasure was watching her favorite sports teams on television while enjoying a martini. During the games she was known to refuse any and all phone calls, chuck domestic chores, and forego her favorite pastime of lunching and shopping at Neiman Marcus! Renita is survived by her three daughters - Renita, Lila, and Sherry, three son-in-laws - Carl, David, and Scott, six grandchildren - Bradley, Sherry, Meredith, Tara, Nolan, and Hugh. Renita also dearly loved her extended families in South Carolina - The Foster and Bradley clans. In lieu of flowers, family members request donations be made in Renita's name to the Wounded Warrior Project.
