Berlin – Richard, born in New York City, New York, passed away on January 29, 2015 at the age of 83 after a long and courageous battle with ALS. Beloved husband of Jean, proud father of Alexa and Brad. A graduate of Adelphi University, he went on to earn his MBA from NYU Stern School of Business. In his youth, he was an equestrian and a performing magician and mentalist; both hobbies grew to become lifetime loves. Richard was active at Temple Shalom, where he served as a member of the board of directors and as president of the Brotherhood. He was a gentleman and a man of integrity who will be missed by his family, friends, and others whom he touched. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the ALS Association or the ALS division of the MDA.
