Richard Rollins Coyle, born February 6, 1935 in Dalton, Georgia, and passed away June 4, 2011 in Dallas, Texas from a respiratory illness. He is preceded in death by his father, Horace Hightower Coyle, and mother, Silvia Virginia McDoevell. Richard is survived by his son, Richard Rollins Coyle, Jr. and wife, Kelli, of Grand Prairie, TX, long-time friends, Pat Stiffler and Homer “Dewey” Lynch, and caretaker, Allan Isaacson and wife, Barbara. Richard spent many years in the floor covering business, but his times for fun were spent at the horse races, dancing and class reunions. He looked forward to spending time with his multiple dear friends from the class of 1954 Crozier Tech High School in Dallas who fondly referred to him as ‘Georgia.’ An inurnment service will be Friday, June 17, 2011 at 10:45 a.m. in Lane B of DFW National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway Dallas, TX 75211.
