Doctor Richard Lane passed away at home on Saturday, January 25, 2014. He was born in Chicago, IL in 1937 to Harry and Edna Lane and graduated from the University of Texas and Des Moines College of Osteopathic Medicine. He practiced general medicine for more than 40 years. A beloved husband and father, Doctor Lane is survived by his wife, Sharon, and 4 children, Lori Hughes of Ft. Worth, TX, Amber Warlock of Erie, CO, David Lane of Las Vegas, NV, and Laurel Shelton of Rowlett, TX, and 8 grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Sparkman-Crane Funeral Home Chapel, 10501 Garland Rd., Dallas, TX 75218.
