

Richard Ebert Rosenthal, was born in Dallas on December 21, 1927 and passed away on November 17, 2011. He was a graduate of Highland Park High School and The University of Texas. On November 28, 1953, Dick married Sondra Lotman of Lincoln, NE. Dick was devoted to Sondie, his lifelong love and companion. Dick was employed by Central States Diversified, where he quickly became a top salesman. Eventually, he was an owner of the company. Dick had a passion for life and was a friend to everyone. Dick is survived by Sondie, his wife of almost 58 years, daughter Nancy Rosenthal, son Bobby, daughter-in-law Jill, brother Buddy Rosenthal and sisters-in-law, Rita Rosenthal and Kaye Lotman. “Diddy Bell” is also survived by his three grandchildren, Justin, Blake and Aubrey Rosenthal as well as an extended family. Dick fought a courageous battle against Parkinson’s and COPD during his last years. Special thanks to Drs. Koster, Ausloos and Lieberman, caregivers Lonnie Stewart and Virginia Serna and the staff of Baylor Hospital. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Temple Emanu-El, where Dick was a lifelong member. A memorial service will be held at Temple Emanu-El, 8500 Hillcrest Rd., Dallas, Texas 75225, on Sunday, November 20, 2011 at 4:00 p.m.
