Clay had a big heart, a great smile, and was a sweet, gentle soul. He had a fantastic memory and a witty sense of humor and could entertain for hours recalling specific lines from movies or TV shows. Starting at a very young age, Clay was attracted to acting and Hollywood. He lived his dream for fourteen years then returned to Texas last year. Unfortunately, he struggled with personal issues and recently began to seek refuge in alcohol. It was this struggle that claimed his life.
Clay is survived by his parents, Carolyn and Rick, and brother, Rush. His younger brother, Carter, died in 1998.
There will be a memorial service at Highland Park Methodist Church on Tuesday, May 12th at 2PM. Reception to follow at the church.
