Robert Joseph Bosworth, Jr. passed away on January 23, 2011 at his home in Dallas at the age of 90. Bob was born on December 28, 1920 in New Orleans, LA. A proud veteran of World War II, he flew B17s in the European theatre and was the recipient of the Distinguished Flying Cross and 9 air medals. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 64 years, Mary Louise Moser Bosworth and their six children: Betty Larkin (Dennis), Ann Gunst (Richard), Bob Bosworth (Janice), Joan Henley (Bruce), Steve Bosworth (Jane) and Tom Bosworth (Mary) and their 23 grandchildren and 7 great children. A Rosary will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at 7:00 PM at St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 6306 Kenwood Ave., Dallas 75214, where he was an active parishioner. The funeral Mass will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas on Thursday January 27, 2011 at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
