He attended Bishop Lynch High School in Dallas then graduated from Texas A&M in College Station with a bachelor’s degree in 1986. Robert worked at American Airlines for 29 years first in Sales then later in Operations Management and most recently in Risk Management. During this time, Robert also served for several years on AA’s CAARE Team assisting accident survivors and their families all over the country. Robert received several commendations during his tenure at AA, including their IDEAAS In Action Leadership Award, one of the company’s highest honors in 1997.
Robert loved to travel all over the world but was also devoted to his family and enjoyed spending weekends with them and their children and grandchildren, to whom he became a role model. He also was a doting pet owner and lovingly cared for several beloved dogs including some rescues, over the last 20 years.
Robert is preceded in death by Domingo Fraga, brothers Peter Fraga and George Fraga.
Robert is survived by sister Rosey Becerra, brothers Edward and David Fraga, Mary Dolores Fraga, and longtime domestic partner Robert Kenney.
Pallbearers will be Mario Becerra, Diego Fraga, Nicholas Fraga and Nicholas Fraga Jr.
