

He was born to Era Jean and Herman Lusk on December 18, 1946 in Azle Texas. After completing grade school, he went on to receive both an undergraduate and graduate degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas Tech University where he also met his wife Sharon through mutual friends.
Robert spent his career working for Rockwell International in Richardson Texas where he advanced through the ranks, eventually retiring when the business was known as Boeing Special Projects. During his career he received numerous awards from international customers, The White House Communications Agency, and a flag flown over CIA headquarters. Robert invested his time outside of work serving on the Texas Tech Engineering Industrial Advisory Board, working in the yard, playing card games, and family genealogy.
Robert is preceded in death by his wife Sharon and is survived by his daughter Lori, and son John. A funeral service is planned for March 3, 2025 @ 3pm, at the First United Methodist Church Richardson (503 N Central Expressway, Richardson, TX 75080) followed by a reception with cookies and beverages. And then his inurnment at the Church’s columbarium next to his wife following his wishes.
