Robert Mangieri was born on 01/28/34 in New York State. His parents were Alex Mangieri and Josephine Amico. His mother came to the U.S.A. from Sicily, when she was young. His father was born in the U.S.A, but his father's people were from the Naples region in Italy. Robert was the youngest of 3 children. He had a brother, Alex and a sister, Eileen. Robert served honorably in the U.S. Navy. He married Barbara Grady, and they shared their lives together, until Barbara passed away on 10/30/2012. Robert and Barbara raised 4 children together, sons, Everette and David, and daughters, Eileen and Lisa. Robert was 90 years old, when he passed away, and had lived a full life. He was many things to many people and touched so many lives. He had great faith in God and Jesus. His faith comforted, supported, and sustained him. He was a concerned citizen and an activist and made an impact on the world around him. He was tough, strong, and brave. He is loved by many and will be cherished and remembered.
A memorial mass for Robert will be held Friday, December 20, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Saint Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church,1201 Alma Dr, Plano, Texas 75075.
