Mr. Robert (Bobby) McGinnis

Robert (Bobby) McGinnis of Lancaster, Texas passed away February 6th at the age of 78 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in the South Oak Cliff section of Dallas. He attended Adamson High School. He was one of a kind with a quick wit. He loved everyone, that is what made him so special. His passion and love of women's softball lead to many victories, championships, and lifelong friendships. He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Jim and Iris McGinnis, and his grandson, Jason Creager. He is survived by his devoted wife of 59 years, Frances McGinnis; he was a beloved father to daughter Dianna and husband Mike Gregston of Mansfield, TX; son Dennis and wife Linda McGinnis, of Middletown, New Jersey; son Robert and wife Jackie McGinnis, of Red Oak, Texas; and daughter Kelly and husband Michael Bethell , of Waxahachie, TX. Adored Poppa to Jeremy Creager, Drew Gregston & Meredith Mills, Kevin McGinnis, Bryan Bethell, Taylor Bethell, Robby McGinnis, Raelyn McGinnis & Dylan David. Great-grandchildren Hayden Creager and Isaac McGinnis. Step grandchildren Charece & Chris Robbins and Heather Copeland. Step great-grandchildren Colby Jones, Cade Robbins, Carleigh Robbins, Rebecca Copeland, Katelynn Copeland. Additionally he is survived by a brother, James McGinnis. He is also survived by his loving canine companions, Charlie and Freddie.
