Dear Cheryl and family,
So sad to hear about Robbie's passing. I am his cousin from Pa. and remember our wonderful times at our grandmother's summer home at Linden...many, many years ago. His mom and my mom, Margaret, were sisters. From you family photos, I can see what a wonderful man he was. You and your lovely family have our deepest sympathy. Very sincerely, Debbie (Gelosh) Slusser

My goodness, I just found out about this and made me so sad. I have good memories and joy and laughter even when Robbie was sick. Cheryl, my heartfelt sympathy to you and the kids.. The world lost a very good person that surely will be missed. May God wrap his loving arms around you all and give you the peace that only he is able to give.....Know that you are in my prayers and always in my thoughts!!

I wil never forget the time Robby saw me cutting a piece of wood in my driveway with a hack saw. He looked at me kinda funny and said, "Now... that's gonna take you a while. Let me help." He took the board next door, cut the perfect size pieces and brought them back to me. To complete my project, he lifted up the corners of our piano so I could slide those perfectly cut wood pieces into place; no small feat!

One time, our smoke alarm was beeping (high up on the ceiling) and he heard it when I went out to get the mail and left the front door open. Boom, he came over with a tall ladder...

He was quick to share his knowledge of real estate with me when he thought it would help me in my business. He was a great neighbor and we will miss him.

Cheryl, our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. We are here right next door if you need anything!

My name is Norma Irwin. I was a teacher at Lake Highlands Elementary when Robbie was in the 4th grade. He was not in my class. I remember how well he dressed. Robbie was "preppy" before "preppy" was even "preppy". I still retain an image of that little boy in my head. I am sorry for your loss and regret that I didn't know him through the years.
