Robert Joseph Price

Robert Joseph “Bob” Price, age 77 of Garland, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Dallas VA Medical Center. A Rosary and a Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 29, at Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic Church of Garland. Interment will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, October 30, at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery under the direction of Grove Hill Funeral Home.

Bob Price was born June 2, 1948, in Dallas, Texas to parents, George Bennett Price and Blanche Florence Brochiero Price. Mr. Price grew up in Dallas, Texas, and later graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1966. After graduating, he enlisted in the US Army and served 3 years, with 1 of those in Vietnam where he was awarded the Bronze Star for Valor. He married Karen Taylor on July 17, 1971. Mr. Price worked in grocery store management for over 20 years, retiring from Minyard Food Stores in 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Liz Price; his beloved aunts, Lucy Price and Mary Thompson; his uncle, John Thompson; and his cousin, Joanne Thompson.

Mr. Price is survived by his wife of 54 years, Karen Price of Garland; seven children, Sharon Hasty & husband Chris of Fort Worth, Monica Price & wife Betsy O’Briskie of Aledo, Geoffrey Price & wife Ellen of Franklin, TN, Jeremy Price & wife Heather of Forney, Andrew Price & wife Amity of Little Elm, Brian Price & wife Julie of Forney, Allison Price of Austin, and fourteen grandchildren.
