He was born in Mexico to Juana and Amado Escobedo on May 27, 1952. Roberto was married to Eduvina Escobedo for 21 years, who preceded him in death.
Roberto worked in manufacturing, painting for Identification Plates. He enjoyed having a good time with his family and liked watching soap operas on television.
He is survived by his son, Robert Escobedo Jr. (Saida); daughter, Eduvina Guedea (Rodolfo); grandchildren, Nathan, Leslie, Edwin, Richard, Daisy, Eric, David, Ashley, and Anthony, great-grandchildren, Nova and Mailen; and sisters, Victoria, Josefina, Consuelo and Maruca.
