Rocie Lucille Lewis

Rocie Lucille Lewis, beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2024, at 90. She was born on November 19, 1933, in McKinney, Texas to Otis Nelson Owens and Bessie Lee Horton.

Rocie dedicated her life to her family and always put them first. She was a loving and caring wife to her late husband, Calvin "Gene" Lewis, and they built a beautiful life together. Rocie was survived by her daughter, Leigh Anne McKethan, of Rockwall; grandchildren: Timothy Lynn McKethan, Jr. of Rockwall, Ashley Anne McKethan of Dallas, Thomas Gene Page, and Robert Cole Page of Mesquite. She cherished every moment spent with her family. Rocie was preceded in death by her daughter Kristy Jean Page; granddaughter Brandy Jean Lewis, sister Naomi Alene Bennett, and brothers: Billy Gene and James Nelson Owens.

Rocie leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and strength that will be carried on by those who knew and cherished her. While she will be deeply missed by those who loved her, her memory will forever live on in the hearts of many. May Rocie Lucille Lewis rest in eternal peace and may her spirit shine bright in the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A visitation for Rocie will be held Wednesday, June 19, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Grove Hill Funeral Home, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228. A committal will occur Wednesday, June 19, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, June 19, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228.
