Rodney William Deyo

Rod Deyo, age 68, was called home to be with the Lord on July 15, 2023. He was born in Dallas, Texas to Donald and Nodgie Deyo. He was raised in Dallas where he graduated from Sunset High School in 1973.

Rod was a simple man. He liked good food, good friends, and good music. He enjoyed family get-togethers and cookouts with family, as well as swimming in his pool. He liked playing his guitar, singing, and jamming with the guys. In his younger years, he liked his corvettes, mustangs, boats, and fishing with his dad and grandfather. Rod always enjoyed getting together with the guys at their favorite hangout in Midlothian Texas, where they could lay back and talk about anything and everything.

Rod will truly be missed but his memories will never leave us.

Rod was presided in death by grandparents, Rev R.W. Deyo and Rev Thelma Deyo. Father, Donald W. Deyo.

Left to cherish his memories is his daughter, Melissa Galloway, and husband Scott. Grandchildren, Emmerson & Darby Galloway. Mother, Nodgie Deyo, sister, Cheryl Wright, and husband Bill Wright

Nieces and family; Kari Wood, and husband Dennis Wood, their children Blake, Hannah, and Ayden.

Lori Round, and husband Matthew Round, their children Kaden, Colby, and Ivy.

Step-Nephews; Billie Wright III., and Casey Wright, daughter Payton Wright.
