Roger Dale Archer

To everything there is a season. A time for every purpose under Heaven.

Roger Dale Archer was born March 29, 1942 and passed away September 21, 2026 at the age of 84. He is preceded in death by his parents Harry and Edna Alita Archer, sister – Sandra Kay Johnson, son – Dale Wayne Archer. He is survived by his family: Darryl Lee Archer (son) and wife, Margaret Archer, children: Natalie (granddaughter) and husband Shane, Jennifer (granddaughter) and husband Alfredo, Darryl Wayne (grandson) and wife Seunggyu, and great granddaughter, Scarlett Archer, sister – Linda Gale Boyd, and several nieces and nephews.

Roger was raised around cars throughout his childhood. He raced his first car when he was nine year old. He started his own successful auto repair shop in the early 1960’s and ran that until the mid-1980’s. He spent a great deal of time raising his 2 sons, coaching soccer teams and supporting all types of other sporting activities. As children we spent many days with mom and dad hunting and fishing and being together as a family. After 22 years of racing all across the country in sprint cars, super-modifieds, modifieds, and late models, Roger decided to stop racing and put his talents in owning and running a racetrack, where he mentored many young racers who are successful today.
