Roger Lynn Rice was born on January 27th, 1975, passing away due to natural causes at his home on August 26th, 2026. At 51 years of age, Roger was dedicated to his career as Regional Logistics Manager at Roadrunner Freight, a position surpassed only by his role as husband, father, and fisherman.
He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Elizabeth Rice, and his son and daughter, Xavier Armand de Jesus Muratalla, and Mercedes Isabella Muratalla, respectively.
Roger, more than a pillar of strength and servitude to those he knew, was beyond all else, a beacon of inspiration. His drive, commitment, work ethic, and honor, was, and continues to be, unmatched. Roger’s fierce, and unapologetic loyalty to his family—as well as his sense of humor, and love of beer—will be deeply missed in the hearts of his family.
