Rosa O. Medrano, 96, was born in Lyce, Texas on November 27, 1919. She entered into rest in Irving, Texas on April 18, 2016. Rosa was a loving and caring mother who doted on her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She relished in family gatherings and loved to cook. She is loved and will be greatly missed by all those whose heart she touched. She is survived by her son, Joe I. Medrano Jr.; grandchildren, Ursula Medrano Felix and husband, Omar of Irving, TX, Marlo Sladek and husband, Todd of Hugo, TX, Aaron Medrano and Katrina West; great-grandchildren, Gabriel Medrano, Brandon Gonzalez, Delilah Felix Samantha Hinojosa and Taylor Hinojosa. The Medrano Family invites you in remembering and celebrating the life of Rosa. Visitation will be held April 21, 2016 from 5PM-9PM, with the Rosary at 7PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home. Liturgy of the Word will be held April 22, 2016 at 10AM in the North Chapel of Calvary Hill, with the burial to follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
