Rosa was born in Dallas, TX to Lorenzo Vargas and Maria Juarez on August 29, 1937. She went to school at Saint Ann Catholic school in Dallas.
Rosa is preceded in death by her parents, Lorenzo and Maria Vargas, her daughter Margaret Bermudez, her sisters Louisa Ibarra, her brothers Augustine, Johnny, and Joe Vargas.
Rosa is survived by her son Marselo T. Rodriguez , her daughter Eva Zuniga, her sister Edna Pena, Irene Ayala, seven grandchildren, thirty-four great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren along with numerous nieces, nephews and extend family friends and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be R.J Jolly, Luke Bermudez, Elias Neri Jr, Jesse Perez,Jr. Johnny Ray Diaz, Christopher Coleman, Jr.
