Rosa Garcia Servin, age 87, passed away on January 17, 2023 in Dickens, Texas. She was born on April 3, 1935 in Dallas, Texas to Melchor Garcia and Aurora Trevino Garcia. Rosa was raised in Dallas, Texas and attended Travis Elementary in Dallas, Texas. She married the love of her life Felix Lopez Servin in 1954 and the couple was blessed with 5 children with love and devotion. She worked in the Cotton fields and Cherry fields, Happiness House Daycare, State Fair of Texas, Family Dollar and Retired as a Homemaker.
In her spare time Rosa enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family, playing bingo, watching the Dallas Cowboys, listening to Conjunto Music, meeting different musicians such as Ramon Ayala, Michael Salgado, Jody Nix and Bobby Flores, dancing, watching game shows and Westerns. Her family and friends will always remember her as loving, caring, and generous person.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Felix Lopez Servin Sr.; parents, Melchor and Aurora Garcia; sister Nellie Velasquez; and brother, Larry Sanchez. Rosa is survived by her daughters, Sylvia Grusendorf (John), Rosie Landa (Carlos-predeceased); sons, Felix L. Servin Jr., Robert Servin (Debbie) and Joseph M. Servin (Maria); grandchildren, Jennifer Servin, Felix L. Servin III, Adam Martinez, Crystal Servin Keenum, Samantha Servin Tovar, Lauren Servin Freeman, Jessica Sabedra, Richard Landa, Christopher Landa, Justin Servin, Julieta Servin, Rosa Servin, Linda Servin, and Mark Anthony Servin; 21 Great-Grandchildren; 5 Great-Great Grandchildren; sister, Dora Martinez, and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
