Rosemary Lenzen LaQuey

Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband, James H LaQuey Jr. as well as her parents, Fred Lenzen and Mabel Sizemore, brother Mike Lenzen, and foster son Bobby Gill.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Rick LaQuey and wife JoAnn; daughters and son in laws Judy and Bill Murray, Christy and Rocky Engemoen, Kathy and Tony Imondi, and Teresa and Randy Ackerman. Also missing her are her 16 grandchildren: Jessica Gillespie, Dr. Rebecca LaQuey, Mary Rooke, Susan Field, Jacquelyn Marlar, Rosemary Ehlers, Evelyn Wilson, Jennifer Frasure, Todd Engemoen, Scott Imondi, Brad Imondi, Zach Imondi, Autumn Lewis, Jeremy Ackerman, Paul Ackerman, Allie Ackerman, as well as over forty great grandchildren.

After graduating from Woodrow Wilson High School, Rosemary married her highschool sweetheart, Jim in 1951. They then had four children within five years! Christy joined the family in 1970, and became Rosemary’s fourth daughter. Rosemary and Jim celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary on Feb 3, 2020, right before Jim’s death. As a young wife and mother, Rosemary had a variety of jobs, all involving her love of children. She ended her career owning 3 Day Care Centers.

Rosemary was baptized into the Catholic faith as a young child. This faith sustained her throughout her entire life and, in turn, impacted her family and all those who knew her. Rosemary had a deep love for her family and was very proud of each and every one of them. We will miss her dearly and will love her forever more!

A visitation for Rosemary will be held Wednesday, February 28, 2024 from 9:40 AM to 9:50 AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2016 Willis Ln, Keller, TX 76248. A rosary will occur Wednesday, February 28, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM, 2016 Willis Ln, Keller, TX 76248. A funeral will occur Wednesday, February 28, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, 2016 Willis Ln, Keller, TX 76248. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, February 28, 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Grove Hill Memorial Park, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228.
