Ruben Maldonado, “Papaw,” 73, of Dallas, TX, passed Away on Saturday, February 20, 2021. Ruben was born on May 30, 1947 in Mexico City, Mexico, to Abelino and Concepción Maldonado. Ruben relocated to Dallas, TX in the 70s, Where he met his wife of 43 years, Janet Maldonado Who he loved with all his heart.
Ruben was a Husband, Father and Grandfather who was best known for being a hard-working man who adored his children, grandchildren, and especially his wife. He was such a hard worker he retired unwillingly at the age of 70. He was the person anyone that knew him could call for help and he would be there in a heartbeat. Ruben‘s friends describe him as a respectful and loving friend.
Ruben was extremely loved by all his family. He had 12 brothers and sisters, along with many nieces and nephews that loved him from a distance in Mexico City.
He will ALWAYS be LOVED and MISSED but Never Forgotten! WE LOVE YOU!!!
Ruben is survived by Family and Friends that love him very much!

Querido Compadre Ruben, Nunca olvidaremos los buenos tiempos cuando nos visitábamos para celebrar el cumpleaños de usted y de su Compadre Jaime! Y la última visita que hicimos con nuestro hijo Jaime Jr y todo su familia, en noviembre 24, 2019! La pasamos muy feliz con ustedes! Gracias por toda la felicidad que nos distes! Nunca vas hacer olvidado! El cielo recibió un Ángel más para cuidarnos! No te divinos Adiós si no hasta que nos reencontramos contigo! Te queremos mucho! 💜✝️🙏🏼

Pops,
I’ll never forget how you were there for me growing up especially when I had Cancer. I thank God for allowing me to be there for you... I would do it all over again! I’ll always remember how you would tickle my feet to wake me up to go run at Kiest Park where you would out run me. Also, that time you stood up to that group of guys that were trying to steal Gilbert’s bike! You were so brave! You knew how shaken we were so you took us for ice cream. I Love You Pops! We already miss you!
