On Wednesday, October 24, 1934, the angels sang and the heavens smiled upon the earth and blessed us with Ruby Bernice Lowe. She was born to the proud parentage of the late John Wesley and Ida Harrell Lowe in Dallas, Texas. She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior as a young girl and united with the True Light MBC under the Pasturage of the late Rev. C.W. Wright.
Ruby attended Dallas Public Schools along with all of her siblings: Henry B, Jeanette, Evelyn Belle, Edna (Bob), John, Dorothy, Myrtle, Bertha, and Willis (Billy). In 1951 she married Grady James Jimerson and to this union, four children were born.
Welcoming her into heaven are her parents and one son, Gary (Toto), 2 brothers and 5 sisters.
Those left to cherish Ruby's loving and everlasting memories are her two sons: Larry and Jerry (Birgit) and one daughter, Vanessa; 13 grandchildren: Eric, Erica, Larry Jr., Marque, Shakinah, Gayla, La Toya, Cory, Christopher, Michael, Korman, Jerry Jr., and Frederick; 25 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; 1 brother; 1 sister; a multitude of nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends
