Ruby Estella Thrall

Ruby Estella Horn Thrall, 91, of Beeville, Texas, entered Heaven on Tuesday, October 11, 2016. Ruby was born on November 27, 1924, in Wilson, Oklahoma to Martain Clay Horn and Gracie Pearl Bailey. Ruby graduated from business school. During World War II she worked at a war plant making landing gear for airplanes. In 1945, Ruby married Henry Louie Thrall, Jr. in Temple, Texas. They resided in Dallas, Texas. She was employed by Sears and Roebuck Company, Dallas, as an office worker. After her retirement from Sears and Roebuck, she enjoyed being a hospital volunteer in Dallas and in Beeville. Ruby enjoyed dancing and music. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Alan Louie Thrall; one sister, Jean Burt; and two brothers, Troy Horn and Joe Horn. Ruby is survived by her daughter, Linda (Dale) Switzer of Beeville, Texas; one grandson, Christopher (Lizette) Switzer of Dallas, Texas; one granddaughter, Kimberly (Sarik) Gutierrez of San Antonio, Texas; two great grandsons, Elliott Dale and Garrett Ethan Switzer of Dallas, Texas; one sister, Betty Ann Horn of Dallas, Texas; two nephews, David (Jill) Burt, Arlington, Texas; Steven (Verna) Burt, Kaufman, Texas; and many friends. Reverend Isaac De Los Santos will be officiating the service.
