Ruth L. Bennett, 78, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Thursday evening December 17, 2020, at Heritage Nursing Home, located in Grand Prairie, Texas, where she had resided for many years. Ruth’s life will be celebrated with a graveside memorial service at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at Laurel Funeral Home, Dallas, Texas, the family is requesting donations to the American Cancer in lieu of flowers.
Ruth was a beautiful baby born in Cooper, Texas to Von and Guila Myers on June 6, 1942. She was baptized in the summer of 1951 at Hatcher Street Baptist Church, Dallas, Texas.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; husband, J. W. Bennett; two precious sons, Jerry Wayne and Paul Williams Bennett
She is survived by her two loving sisters and brother-in-law, Betty Doyle and Nell & Ron Bush; six nieces and nephews; sixteen great nieces and nephews; two great-great nephews
