Ruth was born June 29, 1918 in Hickory, North Carolina to John Jacob and Rosa Probst Jarrett. She passed away July 14, 2012 in Dallas, Texas at the age of 94. Ruth was a member of Central Lutheran Church in Dallas. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Lonnie Jones, 4 sisters and 2 brothers. Ruth is survived by her daughter, Karen Krebs and her husband Mike; grandchildren, Aaron Krebs, Sarah Fite and husband Tracy, Rachel Filbin and husband Collin; and great grandchildren, Christopher and Brenden Fite.
