Mrs. Sullivan left home at 17 years old to live in San Diego, California. There, she attended junior college and met her future husband, Willie J. Sullivan. On September 22, 1950, she was united in matrimony to Mr. Sullivan. In 1952, they moved to Texas and to this union, three sons were born: Dwayne, Michael and Christopher.
Mrs. Sullivan accepted the Lord in her life at an early age. In 1965, she became catholic. She was member of St. James parish for many years. Later, she moved her membership to St. Elizabeth of Hungary and finally to St. Rita Catholic Church where she remained until her demise.
During her life time, Mrs. Sullivan was a licensed beautician. She was also employed at El Centro College in the Audio/ Visual Section and was responsible for updating research material for a local CPA firm.
Mrs. Sullivan is survived by her two sons, Dwayne and Michael; three granddaughters, Cristal, April and Samantha; brother, Forrest Roberts of Ennis, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years of marriage, Willie Sullivan, who passed away in 2003 and; her third son, Christopher, who passed away in 1969.
Mrs. Sullivan lived a happy, healthy and productive 86 years.
