Ruth Womack, 90, passed peacefully from this earth to join her Savior on Thursday, August 30th, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. She was born Ruth Dengler, in 1928, to Hans and Gunde Dengler in Nuernberg, Germany. Ruth met Bob Womack after WWII, while he was serving in the U.S. Army, in her home town. She immigrated to the United States in 1947 and married Robert “Bob” Womack, her husband of 66 years.
Together Ruth and Bob were a team. Ruth supported Bob as he built Womack Machine Supply Companies and AAA Products International, both headquartered in Dallas. As a key part of the business, classes were offered on hydraulic and pneumatic engineering principles. Bob wrote the textbooks and Ruth drafted many of the drawings and diagrams in the textbooks and catalogs. Many of these textbooks became manuals used by companies such as General Electric, Kodak and Texas Instruments. Ruth and Bob attended numerous national and international trade shows and frequently entertained the employees of both companies.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy James and her husband David, her son Harry Womack and his wife Angel, her grandchildren Jason James and his wife Kristin, Kim Bybee and her husband Shane, Kristofer Womack and his wife Bethany, Dustyn Womack, Trayce Womack, Jonathan Womack and his wife Adrienne, Shay Dusek and his wife Morgan, Brooke Dusek, and Tara Dusek, in addition to 7 great grandchildren, and her twin sister Herta Jackson. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bob Womack, and their daughter Donna Dusek.
