Deacon Samuel F. Franklin, passed away March 12, 2014 in Flower Mound, TX. He was born February 7, 1934 in Dallas, Texas to Ruben F. and Viola Franklin. He was a proud veteran having served in the U.S. Air Force. Survived by his nephew, Richard Franklin and his wife, Diane Franklin; niece, Pamela Garner; great nephew Richard A. Franklin and wife Maria Franklin and their three children, Allison, Eric, and Mia. Visitation will be 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Wednesday with the Funeral Vigil at 7:30 p.m. at Sparkman/Hillcrest Northwest Hwy. Chapel, led by Deacon Tim Muldoon. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Christ the King Catholic Church, 8017 Preston Rd., Dallas, Texas, 75225, Msgr. Donald F. Zimmerman, celebrant. Inurnment at Dallas/Ft. Worth National Cemetery at a later date.
