To the Howard Family I’m sorry for your loss.  I was hired at The Dallas Furniture Mart as a kid Janitor, Mr. Howard taught me how to clean restrooms, Men’s and Women’s, no gloves in those days., I was 13 years old.  Fast forward to 1979, I was in a Polaroid photograph with Mr Sam and the famous Dick Gregory outside The White House, it was a great moment in time.  My Grandfather, Boley Gilbert and Brother Lewis Sanders  worked at The Furniture Mart, it was absolutely an excellent period  in time.  Mr Sam was always in a Great mood.  Sam Jr worked at The Furniture Mart.  After that  summer, I didn’t see Mr Sam, until the epic trip to Washington D. C, New York, Niagara Falls, Toronto, Canada and back on a Chartered Continental Trailways Bus.  Sitting here, I can see Mr. Sam’s Face, clear enough to draw or paint it had I possessed the talent.  To the Family and Friends, Jesus said that he will never leave you or forsake you.
