Samuel Porras, has gone home to meet his maker, after fighting a long battle of cancer on June 14, 2016. Samuel was born October 14, 1931 in Dallas TX. Samuel served in the Navy and fought in the Korean War. He continued his love of airplanes for the next 48 yrs by establishing his own company, Southwest Aircrafts Accessories. He is survived by his wife, of 33 yrs, Teresa D. Porras, son, Arthur Porras, and daughter Cynthia Kinser, and 3 step-children, Robert, Sally and Monica. He also has 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Thursday 5pm-9pm with the Holy Rosary at 7:30p at Calvary Hill Funeral Home in Dallas, TX. Mass is Friday at 10am in Calvary Hill North Chapel.
